Envirosystems is a modern analytical laboratory in Baltimore, Maryland equipped with state-of- the- art multiple analytical instruments for analysis of organic, inorganic, and water quality wet chemistry analytical parameters. The laboratory has extensive 25 years experience in US EPA Superfund Analytical Services Contract Laboratory Program (CLP) . Envirosystems have worked for the city of Baltimore programs similar to project #1157 and various other programs for MDE, MDT, SHA, Counties and States in last 25 years.
Envirosystems Laboratory is certified by the state of Maryland and in the last twenty five years also had certifications in various other states (NY, NJ, VA etc.; USACE for various organic, inorganic and wet chemistry parameters and multiple USEPA CLP Contracts under Statements of Works SOWs (OLM04.2, OLC03.2, and SOM01.2 including electronic data deliverable special modified analyses for special superfund projects).
The Laboratory currently has relatively new multiple state-of-the-art analytical instruments GC, GC/MS, HPLC, GPC, UV-VIS, FT-IR, TOX, TOC, etc. and range of other instruments to support lab’s analytical activities. The laboratory has on staff degreed (B.S. through Ph.D.,chemists and specialists with years of experience (5-35 years) to provide quality analytical service on a timely, cost-effective basis, with data packages of known and documented quality including current SEDD requirements at various levels (1-4) to EPA under superfund program and private sector working for Federal and State Governments under their Prime Contract.
Envirosystems has been providing special, non-routine analytical services to USEPA regions and other Government-Prime Contractors directly under Basic Ordering Agreements (BOA)/ Blanket Purchase Order (BPO), or on as-needed basis in response to their Request for Quotation. We have extensive experience in the CLP Protocols both low/medium concentration level waste and low concentration trace level organics in various complex and diverse matrices since the inception of Superfund Analytical Services Program (CLP). Laboratory is experienced in various other analytical protocols, eg Solid Waste Methods SW846 Protocols for solid and hazardous waste. In addition, Laboratory has experience in using other regulatory agencies and associations approved methods (USGS,ASTM, FDA, etc.).
The laboratory uses a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to schedule and report analytical results and other laboratory activities. The laboratory IT Director is responsible for the LIMS and approximately twelve PCs interfaced to various instruments and other laboratory activities. The chemist use Chemstation to acquire the data and Target Thru-Put software to process it in addition to NIST 2002 GC/MS library. The laboratory controls access to all the PCs Via windows Server 2003 Domain.
Envirosystems routinely provides electronic data deliverables to meet the clients varied demands. Hard copy data package is provided in the CLP format for parameters under CLP program ( VOA, SVOA, Pesticides, PCBs and TAL Metals) and in a CLP like data package for other non-CLP parameters.
The Laboratory has consistently provided high quality documented data along with Electronic Data Deliverables (EDD) under CLP program within the contract required turn-around time of 21, 14 and 7 day and summary of the results if required and requested by client only within 48 and 72 hours for VOA and SVOA.
Envirosystems uses a LIMS system for customized data and format reporting that can be provided with sufficient advance notice as to allow for proper development of the report desired. Envirosystems provides hard copy –reporting information and can provide custom EDD formats to our clients. Envirosystems has quality Assurance Managements Plan (QAM) and standards operating procedures (SOP) for both USEPA CLP and USACE Analytical programs and for the State of Maryland that have been reviewed and approved by the agencies for their programs.
Envirosystems has experience in US Army engineers Protocols for analysis and characterization of Dredged Material and Elutriate analysis. The Laboratory LIMS and staff routinely provide data both hard copy and EDD as requested by the client.
